My experience of the hire of an excavator from Max Hire was excellent. On time delivery and good clear guidance on how to use it. The hire of a stump grinder and skilled operator proved the finishing touch to the transformation of the garden.

Despite the fact that I’m not an accomplished builder or landscaper I took on a significant project to transform my own garden. It took 6 months and I used Maxhire for all of the heavy equipment. The service from Maxhire is fantastic. Max himself delivered the equipment to us, he was always interested in what we are planning and there to give friendly advice on which machines are most appropriate and how we best go about the work. He even put me in touch with people for soil etc.. You won’t meet a more enthusiastic and helpful person, I can’t recommend Maxhire enough

For more than 10 years I have used Maxhire to hire tools that I don’t own. The range of items I have used is staggering, anything from a mini JCB, a turf lifter and even a ride-on lawnmower. More importantly, the knowledge of the staff regarding their stock is quite impressive. If I tell them what job I have to do then they can always advise the right tool for the job, help me calculate the length of time I need it and offer tips on how best to get the job done. It seems that nothing is too much trouble for them and the old adage ‘no job too big or to small’ certainly fits here. Quite simply, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

This is just a note to thank your team at Morpeth for their excellent customer service over the last few days. I notified them of a problem with my ATCO ride-on mower last Friday tea-time. As promised they picked it up Monday. At that time the lad who picked it up identified that the problem would not be fixed by simply replacing the part (which I completely agreed with – a poor single dot weld had come apart – likely a production design problem). So instead he welded the part back together better than new and it was returned the next day, Tuesday. The icing on the cake was the driver who brought it back (a different lad) who volunteered to put the mower back in my garage himself as he arrived just in time to meet the 10 minute downpour of rain that day. Summing up – an excellent job all round! Please pass on to the team my appreciation for their service – it really couldn’t be better. Sincerely,
